Carrie Kills A Man shortlisted for Book of the Year!
We’re so excited that Carrie has been shortlisted for The Bookseller’s Book of the Year in the Discover category!
Technology journalist and broadcaster Carrie Marshall came out as trans later in life and felt that now was the time to tell her story: Carrie Kills a Man is her memoir. It was a key non-fiction title for small Scottish independent publisher 404 Ink, and the title’s profile was raised when it was selected as Book of the Week on the “Damian Barr’s Literary Salon” podcast.
Carrie is shortlisted with Preti Taneja, Zoulfa Katouh, Johny Pitts & Roger Robinson, Sheena Patel and Paterson Joseph.
It’s not every day that a book from the tiny publisher that is us gets such an accolade and we couldn’t be prouder of Carrie and all her hard work on her amazing memoir. Congrats Carrie!
